A Cheng Goose in Zhongshan District

Everything was tasty, we didn't have to wait long. We got the small duck, greasy rice, and seasonal vegetables, and it was enough for two us. I would have preferred the duck to be hot but the flavour was good - very savoury

There are a few goose restaurants on the same street. A Cheng Goose sells tasty goose, goose noodles and some simple dishes.

A local favorite.. I'm not a big meat eater, however, the food is delicious. Smoked goose meat cooked to perfection. Full of flavor, and amazing goodness.... I don't know how else to describe it... Be sure to check out the chopstick machine. I've never seen it in other restaurants!!! Come here if you have more than 4 people because you can try more food... Come early because it gets crowded. It is recommended by Michelin. Happy Eating!

Price was good and the duck tasty food sure, but it was warm /cold. Note sure if that's just how it is served here though. The plate in the picture is the 'for one' dish and I ordered green bean noodles also. Not so many green beans but the broth was tasty enough.

Tender duck meat, the rice with goose fat is really fragrant! Sausage with mushroom is a must try. Very good price, best to go in a group at least 3 people.

The best place to have a traditional Taiwanese goose cuisine. They have two stores, the first one where people can consume alcohols however for the second one no alcohols is allowed. I’d recommend to try the posteriors part of goose since there are more meat.

Best goose themed restaurant that I have tried. Their goose oil rice is a must have! Majority of their dishes are from the goose or goose parts. Usually a wait at their original restaurant but they have a second location across the street (that does not serve alcohol).

The goose meat was tasty and hardly can get in other part of the world. Small restaurant with limited space and need to queue most of the time even we came earlier around 6pm. We didn’t manage to eat inside but chose to take away due to long wait and consumed at the restaurant next to it! We ordered the smoked and original goose meat but taste equally good. I prefer the original one better. Meat is so juicy and and chewy ! Really great if you would also dip into the sauce. Quarter portion of the goose caused 400 Taiwan dollars. .. yummy and will come back again..

Must try place. The rice with geese fat is light and fragrant. The main dish is definitely geese but the rest of the dishes like duck blood jelly is superb as well.

Pretty good. People come here for the goose and you'll have to get one of the variety. It's just a bit too greasy for me, much like duck.

Tasty goose meat, I recommend breast. Also the Taiwanese sausage is great. Overall great value for money for some affordable local TW food. No need to wait for a table between 2-5pm.

Really tasty goose meat, has a choice of breast or thigh meat. A good selection on side dishes like Innards and blood tofu, prawns and stinky tofu. A selection Beers and Chinese also available Restaurant is nice and clean.Expect a long queue during peak hours.All major credit cards accepted.

The goose dish is really delicious. It was smoked and the flavour infused was so strong and this is the signature of this dish.

Their goose tasty, and price is reasonable. But seat too close and music too loud. Maybe cuz it’s near CNY. However we still recommend you to give a try for local Taiwanese food here.

Good and economic food. Their smoked goose is very tasty and reasonably priced. The shop services are efficient and the customer stream continues to flow at all hours. Only downside is that everyone speaks really loud in the job and the noise level is rather high.

Love the goose there. So tender with a smoky flavor. The duck blood is also very good. Goose intestine is another highlight for me. Will definitely come back.

A popular place among locals, good if u want to try local taiwanese food. Personally I don't really like the taste of any of the dishes!
